The Black Family Made a Mark
As Matt was driving home, he could not stop thinking about the Black family. The moment he got back to his computer, he got on social media and set about researching. What he learned broke his heart even further: apparently, Chauncy and Barbara had been living in poverty for many years. They only got by on Barbara’s disability checks.
It had also been three years since Chauncy received any new clothes, which says a lot, because he was a teenager in his growing years. Matt kept thinking about how else he could help the family more significantly as buying them groceries from time to time would only do so much. He was serious in wanting to make a lasting difference in their lives.
