Chauncy’s Chance To Be A Kid Again
After introductions were made, it was time to unpack the goodies Matt had bought for the Black family. As Chauncy saw their fridge and kitchen slowly getting filled, his demeanor completely changed. It was like he was a kid again, and Matt was thrilled to catch a glimpse of the real Chauncy for the first time. It was surely a joyous moment for the family, but Matt made a promise to himself that his role in their lives was not going to end there.
Once the grocery bags were emptied, Matt bid the two goodbye with a giant hug and drove home. To Chauncy and Barbara, that was the last time they would be seeing the kind stranger who extended so much generosity. Little did they know that Matt was already planning so much more for them.
