Living on the cusp of the nature preserve allows Alaskan Tim Newton to experience more close encounters with wildlife than the average person. He has gotten so used to seeing wild animals around his home that it’s practically normal to him. But none of these experiences would prepare him for the story we’re about to share with you.
The nature preserve makes sure to protect its wildlife from illegal hunting while carefully conserving the natural habitat of the creatures who reside within its bounds. Human encroachment has caused so much destruction it’s no surprise that many of our wild animals have become endangered, or worse, extinct. So when Tim Newton saw one of the rarest big cats on his porch, he was shocked.
