Newton’s camera was soon filled with photos of the lynx. When he felt that he had enough shots, Newton stopped to enjoy the moment and admire the lynx distraction-free. The big cats continued to play and explore the porch.
Newton recalls, “for the next 40 minutes, they all played on my deck. They were chasing each other, rolling and wrestling.” What Newton thought would be an ordinary day was evolving into a unique experience with Mother Nature.
