The visitors didn’t stay very long on Newton’s porch. Soon, the lynx kittens stopped playing and left. As it turns out, they had discovered that the grass was far more fun and decided to have a go at playing there instead. Newton witnessed every moment.
Then, as if the scene wasn’t incredible enough as it was, the kittens’ mother started looking for them. She gave a roar and the kittens raced to the sound. Newton knew that if the opportunity presented itself and the mother lynx would also come out of hiding, he was going to snap some amazing photos. A mother lynx with her kittens is an even rarer sight. Known to be very shy around humans, the fact that the group of lynx kittens had found their way to Newton’s porch in the first place was already astounding.
