The U.S Coast Guard conducted a search for Shad however they suspended the search after searching 70 square nautical miles (240 km2). Three days later, Shad’s lifeless body washed up on the shore at Marina del Rey beach in Venice Beach, California.
According to reports, a passerby noticed Shad’s body and contacted the authorities.
