If that wasn’t bad enough, Kobe’s parents did not attend his 2001 wedding to Vanessa as they felt that Kobe, who was 22 at the time, was too young to be making such a commitment. They reconciled in 2005, and Kobe continued to support them financially, up until the 2013 incident. So would you have allowed them to come to your memorial service?
