Ivory A Toldson of Howard University and Bryant Karks of Morehouse College conducted the study which seemingly damns black women’s hopes of getting married if they are over the age of 35.

The result of their studies indicate that “75 percent of black women marry before they turn age 35 – and even before 35, have just a 42% chance of marrying.”
