The murderers, Gregory McMichael, 64, a former investigator, and Travis McMichael, 34, were arrested on Thursday by the State Bureau of Investigation.
The authorities said that the McMichaels confronted 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery because they thought he was involved in a burglary. They confirmed that it was the son, Travis McMichael who shot and killed Arbery on the street.
