Pac-Man Visits Mars
In early 2018, NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter captured on camera this magnificent sighting of a PacMan-like shape on the surface of the planet. Talk about waka waka waka. Because of the crescent-shaped barchan sand dune formed inside an impact crater, the image of our favorite retro video game superstar emerged.
Good thing this image of PacMan was only formed through a crater-dune combination because the real guy would have starved to death on this desert planetary island filled with nothing but sand dunes and craggy red rocks. You definitely won’t find any pellet snacks over there.
