Is Curiosity Falling Apart?
NASA’s Curiosity rover was able to take a snap of this strange-looking thing in 2018. It was an immediate cause for concern for the space agency as they were worried it might be a tiny piece of the rover falling off. If that was the case, Curiosity’s safety would have been severely compromised.
Fortunately, though, NASA found that it was not a detached part of Curiosity but a flake-like piece of natural Mars landscape. So there is no need to worry, folks, Curiosity is fine, and will be able to serve NASA for many more years to come.
