An Ancient Relic of a Deity
Alright, even I, the cynic, have to admit: this image does look like a relic of an ancient god. See for yourself: on the left side is a picture captured by the Mars Opportunity rover. On the right side is an image of a Neo-Assyrian god statue taken from the British Museum. Yes, the resemblance is definitely strong with this one.
But, as you may have figured out by now, this rock formation is simply that: a rock formation captured at the perfect angle to allow the play of light to trick our minds. As with all other items we have seen on this list so far, the bizarre figure was formed through a combination of fortunate lighting and the human brain’s crazy imagination. So far, it seems there is still no concrete evidence of an alien civilization that worshipped god statues.
