23-year-old songstress Halle Bailey — who will be seen portraying Ariel in the upcoming live-action film The Little Mermaid — graced the world premiere red carpet event in LA last night.
The actress looked stunning in a blue liquid organza dress by Valdrin Sahiti. The glimmering gown was fitting for the occasion and even featured a shell-shaped bodice making the Halle look like an actual mermaid.
Halle was visibly delighted to be on the red carpet and finally share her work with the world. She talked to the reporters about her journey playing Ariel and how she hopes to inspire young Black girls with her film.
