CBS This Morning host Gayle King had an interview with former WNBA champion Lisa Leslie, and she brought up Kobe Bryant’s sexual assault charges. The case had been dismissed long ago, but some people brought it up following the star’s unfortunate death in a helicopter crash.
King asked Leslie: “It has been said that his legacy is complicated because of the sexual assault charges which was dismissed in 2003, 2004. Is it complicated for you as a woman, as a WNBA player?” To which Leslie, a longtime friend of Kobe’s replied: “It’s not complicated for me at all.”
