June’s Diary was formed back in 2016 by Kelly Rowland and director Frank Gatson Jr. on the reality television series “Chasing Destiny.” After the five women (Kristal Lyndriette Smith, Ashly Williams, Brienna DeVlugt, Gabrielle “Gabby” Carreiro and Shyann Roberts) were chosen, they signed a deal with L.A. Reid’s label, Epic Records. But things didn’t pan out the way that they thought it would.

After releasing a few singles in 2016, we never really heard from them again until rumors of K. Rowland abandoning the girls began to circulate.
