Lizzo said that “no one would switch places with a fat person”. And she had a great example and reason to support her response. Lizzo, 32, compared the question to a famous social experiment by diversity educator Jane Elliott.
During her experiment, Elliott asked a room full of White people if anyone “would trade places with a Black person?”
Shockingly, not a single person raised his/her hand.
Lizzo feels that overweight people are in the same position as Black people.
