Tailor’s lawyers expressed their shock as they claim that the team including Tailor cooperated with the investigation and Tailor even offered to turn herself in if criminal charges were filed.
“I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged. We look forward to clearing her name in court,” her lawyer said.
According to her lawyers, Tailor was forced to stab Obumseli after he tried to choke her. They also claim that the pair were estranged at the time.
