According to the Times, the rapper’s murder determined the investigators to continue searching to find out what kind of violent act could take place on the property. They’re also looking into the properties he owned and operated, and his business partners. It’s still unclear what is the origin of the investigation. For now it seems that the spokesperson for LAPD declined to comment on the specifics of the investigations.
However, he shared with the Times that police are actively negotiating with Nipsey’s associates on the property “to mitigate some of those crime issues.”
