She said that she “feels like there’s a gorilla on her back because she has to keep working for people to eat.” She explained that it’s hard for her to change her mindset.
Apart from sharing her financial setup with her husband, Gab talked at length about the challenges she faced in the film industry stating that NEUTROGENA was her first big endorsement and the contract was renewed for many years until they replaced Gab with Kerry Washington. She expressed that she felt rejected, but it helped her become strategic about branding herself.
She also explained that since starting her acting career in 1995 until now, she’s never been anybody’s first choice – but she remains positive and always lands good roles despite the challenges.
