Nappy Roots took to social media to inform fans that Scales is doing okay and is on the road to recovery.
“I am certainly relieved that my business partner and brother Scales is safe and recovering…that is what is most important,” Nappy Roots member Skinny said in a statement. “We are certainly also praying for the patron who was shot outside the establishment.”

According to the police, two suspects first robbed a customer in the parking lot before entering Atlantucky Brewery.
