More than two decades since the film was first released, a remastered version was made available to viewers. Apart from national screenings by Paramount, the 25th anniversary celebration was also marked with a 2-disc Blu-Ray set featuring bonus content and behind-the-scenes footage.
The edited movie boasted images with better quality, and better sound too. Many fans were excited to see the film again, so it was shown in more than 600 cinemas across the country, with two screenings per day.
