One of the scenes shows Lt. Dan investing Gump’s money into Apple Inc. While the film didn’t specify just how much money was put in the investment, it would be a no-brainer to say that it would have earned him millions along the way.
At the moment, Apple makes profits amounting to $1,444 per second or $5.2 million each hour. This would also translate to $127 million daily or $45.7 billion on an annual basis. Now that is one smart investment to make in real life.
