If you’re a die-hard fan of Forrest Gump, then you’ll surely remember the bus stop scene, where he tells his life story to strangers while they wait for their various buses to arrive. The scene was filmed in Chippewa Square, located in Savannah, Georgia.

Savannah was established as a British colony in 1733 and is known as the oldest city in Georgia. It later became the first state capital. Savannah also served as a strategic port city during the American Revolution and the American Civil War.
