Jenny’s character was Forrest’s love interest throughout the film, from the first time he laid eyes on her through every moment they interacted as adults. While she was never addressed by her last name in the movie, her full name is Jenny Curran.
The only place that the viewers will be able to see her last name mentioned anywhere during the movie is in print. Specifically, it is written on the back of an envelope that Forrest sent her during his time in Vietnam.
