A Forrest Gump Sequel
After the success of Forrest Gump at the box office, the book’s author, Winston Groom, decided to write a sequel called Gump & Co. The sequel contains a lot of errors in spelling in grammar as a reminder of Forrest’s deficiency in the cognitive department.
The novel was released in 1995 and was meant to tell the story of Gump throughout the 1980s. According to Larry King, the sequel was the funniest novel he has ever read and it was later on turned into a screenplay by Eric Roth.
