So the question is, why that show? Joseline is not a doctor, nurse, or married to one. But she’s close friends with new cast member Buffie Purcelle, an eccentric Atlanta woman. And she is married to an older white doctor. Joseline even posted a picture of her friend, supporting the show:

And Joseline visited the show, and the rest is history. Apparently the producers had her film a scene, and she stole the show, and they loved her.
