For whatever reason, Lil Wayne openly endorsed Donald Trump for President during his re-election campaign bid. In exchange, Trump didn’t forget, and he granted the rapper a pardon.
The rapper was charged in Florida on Nov. 17 with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a federal offense that carried a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
