44-year-old white police officer Derek Chauvin was responsible for the death of black man George Floyd who died as Chauvin pinned him down on the road and pressed his neck with his knee.
After days of riots and protests, Chauvin was taken into custody Friday and was charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
