The ‘Milkshake’ singer opened up about her abusive marriage to rapper Nas and the business assault with singer Pharrell Williams.
Kelis met Pharrel and Chad Hugo aka The Neptunes through a mutual friend when she was 19, and claims that she was tricked by people who she considered her “friends”.
“I thought it was a beautiful and pure, creative safe space,” Kelis said. “But it ended up not being that at all.”
