In November 2016, Kanye posted a 17-minute long speech endorsing Donald Trump and then asking Jay Z not to have him assassinated. By 2017, Jay Z released the album 4:44, which was riddled with disses aimed at his former friend. Not one to take it sitting down, Kanye hot back by taking all of his music off Jay-Z’s streaming platform, Tidal.
