But after all the rumors, Jamie took the opportunity and slammed all the rumors. Jamie posted a video in an Instagram Live, and he says he is mentoring her — as he did for Ed Sheeran, Nick Cannon and Ne-Yo back when they they were on-the-rise stars. He said: “When I met Ed Sheeran, I didn’t know him from Adam. He slept on my couch for six weeks. Nick Cannon was 13 years old, he used to sleep at my old house … everybody come to my crib. I did the same thing with her … We took her under our wing … We wanted to treat her the same way and give her the opportunity.”
Foxx, 51, also points out that Vave is “as young” as his daughter Corinne, who is 25. Some reports list Vave as 21, while sources tell us she is just 19.
