If you’ve been hiding under a rock, on February 11th, Dwayne Wade announced that his 12-year-old son Zaire, revealed that he is transgender. Wade not only revealed that he is supportive of his child’s decision, but he also said that he and Gabrielle are now referring to her as Zaya.

The news took the world by surprise, and not everyone was supportive of Dwayne’s parenting style.
