Zaya came out as transgender in 2020, and from the get-go, Dwyane and Gabby have been extremely supportive of their teen daughter’s decision.
Her mother Siohvaughn however, a Christian devout, is completely against this and has blocked her from legally changing her gender and name.
According to the court filing, Dwyane has fought back stating that Zaya should be able to “live more comfortably and honestly in all aspects of her life.”
“Zaya should not be forced to put her life on hold while she waits for Siohvaughn to acknowledge and accept her truth,” the filing states.
Siohvaughn on the other hand has accused Dwyane and Gabby of manipulating Zaya and using her fame for money and clout.
