On Monday night, several prisones escaped from a county jail on Washington State as officials were distracted by the coronavirus. On Tuesday, six inmates remained on the loose. A Facebook post from the city of Yakima wrote: “ALERT! Several prisoners have escaped from the Yakima County Jail in Downtown Yakima.”

The post also advised that residents in certain areas of the city should remain indoors and call the police if they see any suspicious activity.
