A rather quiet country that’s shrouded in mystery, North Korea, has surpassed all the superpower countries in the world and managed to snatch the number one spot on this list. You probably never expected a small country like this would best massive nations like the US, China, and Russia.
The communist country worked silently throughout the years and surprised the world when reports revealed that they had already accumulated over 967 naval assets. This is on top of 25 mine warfare vessels, ten frigates, two corvettes, 86 submarines, and 438 patrol crafts. It’s still astonishing that all of this was made possible by The Korean People’s Army with a budget of $7.5 billion left to spare.
