Egypt takes the crown for having the most significant naval force in the Middle East and Africa. This is why they rank as the 6th most powerful maritime force in the world.
With over 2,000 kilometers worth of shoreline to protect, accumulating 319 naval assets is an excellent strategic move from their military. The Egyptian Navy is built to secure their borderlines and their economy with nine frigates, 23 mine warfare vessels, four corvettes, six submarines, 53 patrol crafts, and two aircraft carriers. All of which is made possible with a total defense budget of $4.4 billion. Rest assured that no matter what happens, peace will be observed!
