Jay Z and Dame Dash’s feud began in the early 2000s when a conflict of interest drove them apart. Sources claim that they no longer saw and Jay Z became the CEO of Def Jam. Since the fallout, Dash has taken numerous shots at Jay-Z but seemed to be sincere when he apologized back in February.

He said, “I don’t have beef with anybody – pause. I’m working past it. So JAY-Z, if I offended you, I apologize. Lyor Cohen, if I offended you, I apologize…“I’m not angry with you no more. I did what I had to do… It was therapy.”
