Comedian Ari Shaffir is feeling the backlash from his highly insensitive and inappropriate comments surrounding the death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant. It’s gotten to the point where he’s receiving death threats, and shows need to be canceled for fear that someone will put him in a box.

Just Tuesday night, the New York Comedy Club, where he was scheduled to perform at 9:15, had to alert authorities to the multiple threats that they received if they allowed him on stage.
