But not everyone is laughing at Chloe’s album flop. Many close friends and co-stars of singer supported and defended the singer online.
Druski, who stars alongside CB in Praise This even helped promote her album and defended the singer’s latest album. “Fuck ’em,” he blasted her critics. “She got better album sales than me. Shit, I’m on iTunes too, it’s better than mine.”
During an interview with Cosmopolitan, Chloe explained that her debut album is about ‘putting yourself back together after feeling like the world breaks you down.’
“Those moments where I’ve been scared to articulate what I feel inside, I put it into the music,” she said. “Now people get to hear my innermost thoughts within these songs, which are all the moments where I’ve been scared to speak up or explain how I feel.”
She added: “There were moments I was heartbroken, not only through romantic relationships but friendships, family, and people I thought I could trust. In Pieces is about how we put ourselves back together after feeling like the world breaks you down.”
“It’s therapeutic knowing that people who inspired some of these songs will hear them. It gives me my power back.”
