Harper Lee
Nelle Harper Lee is an American novelist whose work, To Kill A Mockingbird, won the Pulitzer Prize in 1961 and became a classic example of modern literature in America. The novel tells the story of Jean Louise Finch during the time of the Great Depression.
Lee never married and never had children. She passed away in 2016 and mostly kept to herself, preferring a quiet life away from the public eye. Her biographer, Marja Mills, said that Lee dated a little, but she never found anything she wanted to commit to.
