There are couples who are happy and content with their relationships without ever making things official. Such was the case with Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp, who dated for fifteen years, even raising children together.
Vanessa stated at the time that they were in a committed relationship, even without the marriage certificate to make it official. This was perhaps for the best as the couple eventually broke up and Johnny Depp moved on with his co-star, Amber Heard. Vanessa has remained single since their split.
