Mindy Kaling is an actress, writer, producer, and comedian. She gained attention in the industry for writing, producing, and starring in The Mindy Project, a comedy series on Fox/Hulu. She also did voice work for several films, including Despicable Me, Inside Out, and Wreck It Ralph.
While the characters she portrays on screen are often obsessed with the idea of marriage, Kaling seems to be on the opposite side of the fence in real life. Recently, she had her first child and she prefers to do parenting alone.
