Greta Garbo was a famous actress in the 1920s and 1930s. She was a determined woman who went against the standards of time, remaining unmarried during a period when that kind of female independence was considered odd.
She was involved in a few different relationships but refused the proposals of her beaus. She was quoted as saying that some people want to get married and some don’t. She never had any urge to go to the altar and believed that she was a hard person to lead.
