Back in 2021, in an intimate conversation with Mariah Carey, Cardi shared that she “feels so vindicated” after getting the body that she desires.
“Well, I’m from New York, right? And New York is a melting pot, especially where I grew up in the Bronx,” Cardi told Mariah. “I was really skinny when I was younger, and in the Bronx, it’s about being thick and having an ass so young boys would be like, ‘Look at your flat ass. You ain’t got no t—ies.’ And it would make me feel so ugly and undeveloped.”

Cardi has candidly given credit to her dancing/stripping career because of which she was able to afford her boob job and other surgical procedures to enhance her body.
