The baseball head coach of Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, John Altobelli, 56, as well as his wife, Keri Altobelli, his daughter Alyssa Altobelli, and his brother, Tony Altobelli died in the accident yesterday. According to the assistant head coach at the school, Ron La Ruffa, “It was something John routinely did, flying up with Kobe to attend games with his daughter.”
