Danielle broke her silence and explained her mother had her taken to the Turn-Around Ranch, a ranch for troubled teens, on the suggestion of TV personality Phil McGraw. Bregoli said that ranch employees forced her to stay awake during her first three days there.

She claimed: “So for the first three days you’re there, it’s no showering. They put you in a circle, which is a teepee. It’s a little teepee, but it’s opened. And you have to sit there for three days. They take away necessity privileges, like sleeping on a bed, eating good food, not being cold.”
