Jon Favreau decided to direct the Lion King remake as well, and people were thrilled. The trailer broke records and everybody was happy. But now that the movie is actually in theaters, the hype kind of died down. And now people are not only saying it’s okay, but they kind of hate it.

And having been in theaters for only a few days, the movie scores 59% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 5.5 on IMDB.
