Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr., famously known as Irv Gotti has been openly dissing and blasting Ashanti for months. Referring to his arrest and property getting raided by the feds, Gotti said that ‘Ashanti ran like a cockroach.’
“When the feds hit, she ran like the cockroaches when you turn the lights on,” he told Page Six of the singer.
He also said that he made her a ‘star’ and also claimed that he came up with the hit song ‘Happy’ after he had banged the singer.
“She was ready to get the f - - k off of the Murder Inc. label and she was ready to abandon me, the person who made her. And yes I can say I made her,” he said. “How do you know I can say that firmly? The minute I stop making her records . . . She has not made a hit since.”
