According to the detectives, Bryan told cops that he heard Travis yell “f***ing n*****” to Arbery after shooting him to death.
Investigators also found that the McMichaels often used racial slurs such as the N-word in text messages and even used it on social media.
One comment by Travis on social media read: “blow that [n-word’s] head off.”
In another comment Travis explained why he loves his job: He said that “he loved his job cause he was on a boat and there weren’t any ‘n-words’ anywhere.”
