In 2019, Jay-Z born Shawn Corey Carter, signed a deal with the NFL to head the league’s musical entertainment segment, which includes the Super Bowl Halftime show.

In an interview later, rapper N.O.R.Z spilled tea on the Drink Champs episode with Snoop Dogg that Jay-Z told him that Eminem only agreed to perform at the halftime show if 50 also agreed to hit the stage.
